System Architecture on the way..

After all the hectic weekdays , its the day everyone except the home makers would love it.! Its Saturday , that awesome evening , we were playing volley ball and I was surprised to see my intermediate school mate in here .

Me : Heyyy...!! Arvind , man..! ur here ??

Arvind : Heyy..! Hai...! what a pleasant surprise. I ve joined ME Mechanical . wot bout you ?

Me : I'm in VGSoM .

Arvind : wow..!! cool..CAT man ;) . So , howz it going !

Me : Till now i have absolutely no idea .!

Arvind : Hey commonnn..?! geeky...! so , what r all the subjects u have . ?

Me : I forgot ya .! but i remember prof one Mr.Mukherjee discussion on System architecture and I got reminded of my college days where we studied it..! for marks .;)

Arvind : ohh..! its about computer , data bases and the link between them right..!

Me : hmm , not exactly , it the way in which we distinguish and use data and application .

Arvind : interesting..! then .

Me : Separating data and application is significant even if they are in the same machine. which basically means , an Integrated System .!

Arvind : There are many tiers ? right  single , multiple .!

Me : Exactly , single , two tier , three tier and multi tier

Arvind : yaa...! can you just distinguish them ?

Me : sure , single tier is where we have the data and application in the same machine .
two tier is where data is loaded in a separate server and applications are loaded in other machines which accesses the data through internet . And in 3 tier , there is a business logic between the data and applications.

Arvind : good...! so , what is the use of these multi tier systems ??

Me : good. ! it supports multi user system , faster in time and response .

Arvind : then , what is the web server .

Me : ya...! actually it avoids the prerequisite of  having loaded all the necessary softwares in our machine . instead , we can access them from web servers through web browsers .

Arvind : good man ..! thrown some light on basics .!

Me : thanks to that gentleman !
